What i've been up to yesterday and today....
These two above i made yesterday, with the aid of the amazing sketches at Sketches-R-Us
Check them out, they absolutely ROCK!!! making these was such a BREEZE! and i've been hanging on to these pictures for a long time!
Ok, so i can't seem to get these next to each other but this is one long layout, which looks much better side by side. I used my A page in time kit to make this... i followed the directions loosely.
I really like how it turned out!!
Mini vent
Do you ever just feel OLD, and TIRED?? My baby is getting molars... he's got a huge hunk of skin that's poked out where his tooth now is... he's grumpy and irritable and not sleeping well, and all of the above applies to me as well! At least we cosleep, or i swear i'd be DEAD by now from having to get up and nurse him... i'm convinced one CAN die of exhaustion even though its not yet happened to me ;-) My dh is at a baseball game with the guys, Leif is totally wigging and wanting to sit on my lap and nurse and get into my scrap stuff, and i just want to be a PERSON, not someone's mommy, not someone's wife, just a PERSON. Overall, i love my job. Its the most fulfilling job i could imagine, but it never ends. and i'm TIRED! Thanks for listening, vent over, now i'll stop whining and get on with my neverending duties!
Try this quiz!!! post your results? pretty please??
This is fun. i'm neutral.. weird.. i'm from MN and live in WA now.
What American accent do you have? (Best version so far) Neutral You're not Northern, Southern, or Western, you're just plain -American-. Your national identity is more important than your local identity, because you don't really have a local identity. You might be from the region in that map, which is defined by this kind of accent, but you could easily not be. Or maybe you just moved around a lot growing up. |

Some new layouts.
Ok, so i'm behind, as always but last week, was a week long crop at http://scrapperie.com/forums/index.php?act=idx which, btw, is a GREAT board, you should check it out! anyway, i made about a million layouts or more accurately around 20 or so.. and thought i'd post my favorites here :-)
The above two were inspired by 2 of Tessa Ann Watte's layouts from her blog
http://www.tessaann.blogspot.com/
The above layout was for a challenge... to scrap a cause that is important to you... it was hard to do.
This one took forever! plus the black chipboard stickers blended into the background, so i traced the outside with white paint pen, still didn't help, so i traced the inside with white paint pen, helped a little, finally, i filled them in with red stickles. that helped!

WHEW!
Well, i'm definately feeling like my title today! i'm so zonked out! we've had guests since friday and have been packing massive amounts of activity into a small amount of time, and i was totally sucked in by the rocking kits meow cybercrop and stayed up way late to get as many layouts done as possible. you know, the who needs sleep mentality?? Well, that indeed is some kind of crazy, and i'm totally feeling it! but i did do a couple of layouts that i REALLY like and wanted to share!
I'm working on an alphabet book for annabeth, and this is a picture of my best friend's dh, which somehow got blobbed with something pink and glittery, WHILE up high out of the reach of little hands! argh! anyway, i like the design of it.... i'll repace the pic someday...
Ok, this one, the letters totally make it! they are transparency stickers by chatterbox i think... been hanging on to them forever and then found the perfect use for them. i love how you can see the pictures through them. i traced around for definition
And last but not least, i love this one because it really captures the inquisitiveness of my sweet leify :-)

First is a layout i did with my Scrapodango "Spice" kit. this kit is so much fun to layer!
Next is my july month in review, using an older kit i wanted to use up, ther paper seemed PERFECT for July.

Ugg, i've not updated in ages!! i hate that because i'm not exactly sure what i have or haven't posted about.. what i was excited about a few days ago has gone by the wayside... anyway... i did this layout yesterday. it was for a challenge to use a song. i love it! Still on the agenda is to make a prayer journal, a gratitude journal, and do some more layouts!! we'll see how that goes!
